BookPeople is the largest independent bookstore in Texas. It has been an Austin institution since 1970 offering an eclectic mix of book titles, gifts, and magazines. BookPeople has been voted The Best Bookstore in Austin every year since 1984. BookPeople is involved in numerous efforts to maintain the style of life that all of us in Austin seek to enjoy.
